Demand Speaker Tillis Be Asked to Resign!

Speaker Tillis has repeatedly disrespected and villianized the poor of North Carolina. Because of this he should not be allowed to continue to serve as Speaker of the House of North Carolina which represents ALL of the people of this state.

Highlighting two of his most recent statements (among many),  the following was said by the speaker:

“What we have to do is find a way to divide and conquer the people who are on assistance. We have to show respect for that woman who has cerebral palsy and had no choice in her condition that needs help and we should help. And we need to get those folks to look down at these people who choose to get into a condition that makes them dependent on the government.”

We, the undersigned, demand that the NC House of Representatives ask Representative Tillis to resign as Speaker of the House.

We are in a new millilenuim, and you would think people especially the so call educated would stop and think. But greed has always been their problem. You would think with the economy in the shape it was in they would want to help and to share, but greed has them thinking Obama is here to help all people, but it’s too much like right.They have really showed there color.
