Adelante Education Coalition welcomes all of our allies to join us as we stand together with Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, NC NAACP president to speak out against the re-segregation of our education system.
As Christmas approaches, we are again called to the story of No Room In The Inn, when the innkeeper turned away Mary and Joseph, so Jesus was born in a manger in a barn.
This is an important year to stand together as people who believe in civil rights, human rights and fairness in North Carolina, to resist violations of human dignity embodied in the "back of the bus" policies of community colleges and upcoming white supremacist, anti-immigrant policies being considered in the legislature.
